ALRA Grad Jimmy Akingbola has won an MVSA (Music Video Screen Award) for Best Actor in TV. The MVSAs glitzy ceremony in the middle of the annual Birmingham Black International Film Festival. Jimmy scooped the award for his performance as live-wire Registrar Antoine Malick in the BBC’s Holby City.

A new ALRA promotional film produced by award-winning film-maker Samuel Dore can now be viewed online. The film features ALRA graduates Miranda Hart, Sarah Parish, Tom Craig and Jimmy Akingbola.
